Geo Carpio is very excited to be making his theatre debut with EastLine Theatre. Geo has always carried his Latino Heritage strongly and proudly. Past credits include Lobby Hero (Jeff), Welcome to the Moon (Walter, Vinny), and also produced, wrote, and performed in his own tv pilot, Karma.

Lauren Giglio is thrilled to be part of her first ever East Line production! Lauren has always been proud of her Latin heritage. Her grandfather, Jose Ramos-Lopez, was the first Puerto Rican elected to the New York State Assembly (she dedicates this show to him). Lauren recently graduated from the Chicago College of Performing Arts in 2021 and is represented by Paonessa Talent Agency. Past credits include The Miracle Worker (Annie Sullivan), Grease (Rizzo), and Aida (Amneris). Enjoy the show!

Giovanni Marine is a Dominican-American actor born and raised on Long Island. He has been fortunate enough to play various roles from classic musicals to classical texts. He is grateful and excited for the opportunity and privilege to play Juan Julian Rios in Nilo Cruz’s Anna in the Tropics and especially with such a dedicated group! He would like to give thanks to his loving wife Mahi for her patience and endless support, his two daughters for their constant inspiration, Tom Ciorciari for his guidance, and for the opportunity, Matt Rosenberg for his hard work, the Lee Strasberg Institute for the technique and Jesus for the continuous blessings. “At Your Service.”

Julia Navarro is excited to play Conchita in this production of Anna in the Tropics. Julia is originally from Alicante, Spain and lives in New York. She studied acting and musical theatre in both Spain and London, where she lived for 2 years. In 2019 she attended the Evening Conservatory at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. She also holds a BA in English Studies and  Master’s Degrees in Education and Teaching. Julia is very happy and grateful for the opportunity to work with EastLine Theatre.

Kevin Rios was born and raised in Jalisco, Mexico. Kevin is a NYC-Based Actor. He started his journey in 2015 in Mexico City training in Casazul Acting Conservatory where he found his passion and his second nature on the stage. He most recently graduated from the Stella Adler Professional Acting Conservatory where he found a deep connection with Shakespeare. He is founder of Hippolytus productions and his most notable credits include The Man Who Laughs (Ursus), The Last day of Judas Iscariot (El Fayoumy), Boleros for the Disenchanted (Don Fermin/Don Eusebio)

Elizabeth Tobio is thrilled to return to EastLine as Ofelia in Anna in the Tropics, having recently appeared as Mrs. Dickson in EastLine’s production of Intimate Apparel by Lynn Nottage. Elizabeth would like to thank her family for always supporting her and Matt Rosenberg for believing in her.

Lynn Ciorciari (she/her) being a fashion-plate punk rocker in the early 80s was only possible on a teenager’s budget by learning how to sew. Thus began a lifelong passion for all things fabric, thread, needles and pins. Costuming actors from NYC to Idaho to Atlanta and now, at EastLine, is a privilege. Big thanks to an ultra-creative mom who handed over the keys to her trusty Singer way back when.

Tom Ciorciari (he/him) is a NY-based actor and musician. He can currently be seen in the EastLine Abroad touring library production of Anne Nelson’s The Guys. Tom would like to thank this wonderful cast for the enthusiasm and joy they brought to this production every day, without fail. Tom would also like to thank Matthew, Nicole and Danny for their invaluable creativity, counsel and support. Lastly, Tom would like to thank and acknowledge Lynn Ciorciari for the countless sleepless hours spent deep into the night designing and handcrafting this show’s costumes.

Matt Rosenberg (he/him) has been with EastLine since 2015, where he has served as Stage Manager, Director, and Actor. In his more than one decade in Long Island Theatre, he has stage managed almost 100 productions. Favorite EastLine credits include Equus, Gross Indecency, and Indecent
