Peter Goike III (he/him) is excited to be treading the boards again with EastLine Theatre and very excited to be doing an original piece by the uber talented Daniel Higgins. In addition to being an actor, Peter is also a director and his most recent production was Ken Ludwig’s The Fox on the Fairway with The Carlyle Players. He was last on stage in The Carlyle Players production of All My Sons as Chris Keller. Allons-y.

Morgan Moffitt (they/them) is honestly just happy to be here. They’d like to thank everyone at EastLine for this wonderful opportunity, and their friends and family for all of their love and support.

Anthony Noto (he/him) is thrilled to be a part of this wonderful cast and crew and always excited to be a part of anything EastLine. Anthony is also the lead singer of the rock band Blue Movie. Find his work and links to the band’s work at anthonynoto.net

Avery Powell (they/she) is thrilled to be returning to the EastLine Stage. They have previously been seen in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Helena), Buried Child  (Vince), Parade (Frankie Epps), and The Laramie Project (Jedadiah Schultz). They would like to thank their partner for their continuing support.

Matt Rosenberg (he/him) is a stage manager, actor, and director who has been working in Long Island theatre for almost 15 years. He has stage managed over a hundred productions across Long Island, and has been with EastLine since 2015. As an actor, Matt has appeared in  The Normal Heart (Tommy Boatwright), The Butler Did It (Louie Fan), and Antigone (Messenger). This is his third time playing this role in an EastLine production of The Importance of Being Earnest, and he has also appeared as a butler in PlazSuite, The Philadelphia Story, An Ideal Husband, and The Truth.

Van Leon Whitaker  (he/him) is elated to perform again with EastLine Theater after having last been seen in A Few Good Men (Lt. Matthew Markinson), and is happy to be joining this talented and exuberant cast in Being Earnest! Some of Van’s notable credits include Ragtime  (Coalhouse Walker/Booker T. Washington), The Full Monty (Noah T. ‘Horse’ Simmons), Dreamgirls (Marty), Parade (Newt Lee), Showboat  (Joe). Other favorite roles include Flick in Violet, Tom Robinson in To Kill a Mockingbird, Tom in Big River, Reginald Tasker in The Bad  Seed, and Queeqeg in Moby Dick Rehearsed. Van’s hope is that this wonderful play can invoke a new dialogue that will further inspire all of us to take a new look through “Love’s” eye… so that each of us will leave the theater renewed… each of us truly “Being Earnest” in our quest to purport respectful regard for one and other as each of us navigates this wonderful, interesting, and colorful journey we call life!

Andrea Woodbridge (she/her) is thrilled to be appearing on stage as Miss Prism alongside the amazing cast of Earnest. Lynn Ciorciari (she/her) being a fashion-plate punk rocker in the early 80s was only possible on a teenager’s budget by learning how to sew. Thus began a lifelong passion for all things fabric, thread, needles and pins. Costuming actors from NYC to Idaho to Atlanta and now, at EastLine, is a privilege. Big thanks to an ultra-creative mom who handed over the keys to her trusty Singer way back when.

Julianna Frasca (she/they) is excited to be returning to EastLine Theatre for their production of Being Earnest after recently stage managing their production of This Play Was Never About Noses. Other credits include stage manager for Canned Laughter at the Downtown Urban Arts Festival, and assistant stage manager for Malefactions at Cradle Theatre Company in the city. Julianna would like to thank her wonderful husband, William, for supporting her while she takes the car every night for rehearsals.

Danny Higgins (he/they) came out of the closet to his parents when he was thirteen and then proceeded to survive being an openly queer person in catholic institutions for the next six years. Since then he has done some theatre making, occasionally a bit of grave digging, and then ultimately finding joy within himself. He is excited to share some of what he learned along the way with you tonight. He wishes to acknowledge the support of the (hella queer) family he has here at EastLine. He is forever thankful to Bryan for his patience. He dedicates this production to the memory of an old friend.

Nicole Savin (she/her) has been an EastLine contributor since 2016 and has directed productions of God of Vengeance, The Truth, and Treasure Island; with Danny Higgins she has co-directed An Oresteia and Pride & Prejudice, She holds a BA (Hons) from Royal Holloway, University of London in Drama and Theatre Studies. She is also an Associate Director with By Jove Theatre, and on the literary team at The Playwrights Realm.

Remi Watts (she/they) is EastLine’s Technical Director, she has worked at places such as BAM Fisher and the Met Opera. She is excited to be working on this adaptation of The Importance of Being Earnest. Remi strives to create new and unique worlds through her use of lights and sound. Some of their favorite credits include Peter and the Starcatcher, Treasure Island, and Indecent.
