Tom Ciorciari (he/him) is thrilled to be back on the EastLine stage with friends both old and new. He has performed extensively in regional theater. Recent productions include A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, King Lear, The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, Tartuffe, Orphans, Much Ado About Nothing, God Of Carnage, The Laramie Project, Anna In The Tropics (also dir.), Richard III, The Guys (also dir.), Indecent, Doubt, and God Of Vengeance. Many thanks to Paul, Nicole, Michelle, Wendy and this fabulous cast for making this a lovely experience. Big love to Lyn and our gang o’ kitties.
Steven Garry (he/him) is returning (trepidatiously) to the stage after a hiatus of MANY, MANY years and is extremely grateful to EastLine for providing this opportunity! In an earlier life, Steven performed in numerous productions for the Manhattan College Players. Among his many roles were Duke Lucentio (Measure for Measure), Hysterium (A Funny Thing Happened…), Lucky (Waiting for Godot), Leslie (The Hostage), and Edmund (King Lear).
Mauricio Gonzalez (he/him) is a Latinx actor and playwright. After studying at SUNY Purchase and graduating with a degree in Theater and Performance, he has since gone on to star in the short films Amber Rain and Mirage, and performed in the staged reading of the play What Cheer. In his spare time, he is also directing comedy skits, and writing plays such as Piñata. This is his second collaboration with Eastline, having previously worked on References to Salvador Dalà Make Me Hot and is thrilled to be back on the stage performing for the people.
Victoria Kay (she/her) is a Long Island-based actress who is excited to be part of this EastLine production! A few memorable roles she’s taken on include Mandy in Time Stands Still and Maeve in Dance Nation. In addition to acting, she loves to sing opera! Victoria previously appeared as Beth in EastLine’s Little Women. She’d like to thank her Mom, Dad and Twin Sis for their support and love.
Elizabeth Rowe (she/her) is delighted to be back with EastLine, where she previously appeared as Owl-Eyes in These Gilded Souls, Maude in Our Leading Lady, Halie in Buried Child, and Ethel in On Golden Pond. Other Long Island productions include The Twentieth Century, The Laramie Project, All My Sons, Moon Over Buffalo, Death of a Salesman, Don’t Dress for Dinner, The Butler Did It, Murder at the Vicarage, Alone Together, Isn’t It Romantic, The Dining Room, Dracula the Musical, Wait Until Dark and The Sistine Chapel. When not acting, she’s entertaining and inspiring children, adults and families as a nationally recognized storyteller. (www.Storytellerowe.com).
Matthew Ruby (he/him) is a writer and artist from Long Island. His short film, Daysleeper, was featured at the 2024 Long Island International film festival this past summer. Ruby is happy to be making his second EastLine appearance as Horster in An Enemy of the People. He thanks Paul, Nicole, and Michelle for putting together such cool shows. He dedicates his performance to his grandmother, Judy, who was a big inspiration to him.
John Torres (he/him) is a life-long theatre practitioner, performing with or directing for companies across LI and NYC. EastLine appearances: Regrets Only, The Fantasticks, Exit the King, Uncle Vanya, Incident at Vichy, Almost Maine, Oslo and All in the Timing. John also directed EastLine’s Kimberly Akimbo, the library production of Any Friend of Percy D’Angelino is a Friend of Mine (playing Frankie,) AITT (two playlets) and Hand to God. Love to my secret weapon, Lucy, without whom none of this ever happens.
Lyn Adler (she/her) Being a fashion-plate punk rocker in the early 80s was only possible on a teenager’s budget by learning how to sew. Thus began a lifelong passion for all things fabric, thread, needles and pins. Costuming actors from NYC to Idaho to Atlanta and now, at EastLine, is a privilege. Big thanks to an ultra-creative mom who handed over the keys to her trusty Singer way back when.
Paul DeFilippo (he/him) is a writer / director / occasional sound designer from Queens. For EastLine Theatre, he has directed Machinal, Dance Nation and Hamlet. He wrote and directed a full-length sci-fi comedy film, Policy, for EastLine’s Muse Anthology project in 2021.
Michelle Osojnak (she/her) is delighted to have the honor of stage managing her second show with EastLine. She has previously stage managed EastLine’s Hispanic Heritage Month production of Machinal (2024). Michelle is a Queens-based actor and teacher who has appeared in EastLine productions of An Oresteia, Or What We Have Seen; The Two Gentlemen of Verona; These Gilded Souls; The Merry Wives of Windsor, and most recently Hamlet. She has been so lucky to work again with both Paul and Nicole in this capacity, grateful as always for the support.
Nicole Savin (she/her) is EastLine’s Artistic Director. EastLine directing credits include: Trouble in Mind, God of Vengeance, Men on Boats, The Truth, Treasure Island, and Pride & Prejudice. As a lighting designer: Machinal, Little Women, and More Light. She holds a BA (Hons) from Royal Holloway, University of London in Drama and Theatre Studies. She is an Associate Director with Theatre of the Gentle Furies, and on the literary team at The Playwrights Realm.
