John Brautigamย (he/him) is a composer/lyricist (and sometimes actor) based in New York City. He is a graduate of Berklee College of Music with an MA in Musical Theater Writing. Recent acting work includes Emma, King Lear, Little Women, Hamlet, The Care and Feeding of Restless Spirits, and These Gilded Souls. Recent writing work includes The Understudy, The Story of the Bagel, MIDAS, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, and Prospero (LIVE!); a musical adaptation of Shakespeareโ€™s The Tempest. Caitlin Cassidy (she/her) is happy to be in the great outdoors with EastLine. Previous credits with EastLine include Sofia in Dance Nation, Caroline in the staged reading of Aly Kantorโ€™s Blowhole, and Annie in In the Next Roomโ€ฆ Caitlin is an English and Theatre teacher on Long Island. Education: BA Theatre/BS Secondary Education (Penn State), MSEd Special Education (CUNY Queens College). Special thanks to her family, friends, husband, and cats.

Anthony A. Espositoย (he/him) is thrilled to be part of this EastLine Theater production. He is retired for 19 years from a 40 year career in mental health counseling and psychotherapy. For the last 4 years he has been leading workshops in consciousness and the psyche at the Osher Life Long Learning Institute of Stony Brook University. This production marks his debut in theater.ย 

Kuan Hao Huangย (he/him) itโ€™s ya boi Kuan, enjoy the show!

Deanna Ibrahim (she/her) is excited to be a part of Mansfield Park! She has most recently appeared as Harriet and Cordelia in last summer’s repertory productions of Emma and King Lear. She also played Catherine in These Gilded Souls, Jane in Pride and Prejudice, and she choreographed EastLineโ€™s production of Dance Nation. She recently received her doctorate in Applied Psychology from New York University, and holds her BA in Theater and Psychology from Muhlenberg College. Deanna would like to give a big thank you to the EastLine team for giving her a good excuse to use her theater degree this summer!

Sydney Kalishย (she/her) is thrilled to return to EastLine Theatre after appearing as Lydia Bennet / Lady Catherine de Bourgh in Pride & Prejudice, as well as the staged reading of Blowhole by Aly Kantor. It has been a joy for her be able to create alongside a lovely group of artists. She would like to thank the directors at EastLine for the opportunity, as well as her friends and family for their continued love and support.

Michelle Osojnakย (she/her) is honored to be back for another summer show. This is Michelle’s fifth year as part of EastLine’s Summer Theatre endeavor with past credits including the titular Emma in Kate Hamill’s Jane Austen adaptation, Regan in King Lear, Rosencrantz in Hamlet, Mistress Page in The Merry Wives of Windsor, and the Duke in The Two Gentlemen of Verona. If you’re reading this, there’s still some chances left to catch Michelle in EastLine’s summer production of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing. Thank you Stevie for continuously running lines with me to help me do what I love! Nicole & Paul are the best for putting their faith in me again and again.

Justin Steeleย (he/him)ย is thrilled to return to EastLine Theatre for Mansfield Park. Past Eastline credits include Murder Ballad (Tom) and Angels in America (Belize), with additional favorite roles including Lola in Kinky Boots and Mr. Jefferson in Rent. Justin is a proud LGBTQ+ musician, actor, and singer/songwriter from Queens Village, NY. Offstage, he works as a day habilitation specialist, performs singing telegrams throughout New York, and hopes to pursue a graduate degree in social work, believing laughter, music, and storytelling can brighten lives and build community.ย 



This September: Federico Garcรญa Lorcaโ€™s aching portrait of one womanโ€™s longing to have a child finds fresh expression in Melinda Lopezโ€™s adaptation. Consumed by her dream of motherhood, Yerma defies her husband and confronts her community. In this darkly poetic fable, Yermaโ€™s obsessive desire propels her into a collision with the universe that is urgent and terrible in scope. In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.

Paul DeFilippo (he/him) is a director, actor, writer, and occasional sound designer from Queens. Mansfield Park is the seventh show he has directed for EastLine Theatre. Previous directing credits include Summer Shakespeare productions of King Lear and Hamlet, and mainstage productions of Witness for the Prosecution, Machinal, Dance Nation, and An Enemy of the People, which he also adapted. Paul also wrote and directed a full-length sci-fi comedy film, Policy, for EastLineโ€™s Muse Anthology project. As an actor, he most recently played Laurie in EastLineโ€™s production of Little Women.

Morgan Moffittย (they/them) is an actor, wardrobe technician, and frequent audience member/fan of EastLine Theatre. They are thrilled to return to costume design this year with Mansfield Park! After getting their degree in theatre design and technology from Adelphi, they have worked in the wardrobe room for numerous shows around NY including Off-Broadway for Eurydice, Sleep No More, and Blood/Love to name a few. Theyโ€™d like to thank everyone at EastLine for letting them work on this truly beautiful show, as well as their friends, family, and incredible partner Remi for all of their support.

A passionate drama of love and endurance beginning in the last days of 1899 through the heart of the twentieth century. Winner of the Olivier and Tony Awards for Best New Play.
